Toby Ziff is a street photographer. There is not much information about him online. Opening his personal Instagram, there is no description. However, Ziff recently included Mashable's report on him in his self-introduction. It was an article about his recent work. Ziff is obviously very concerned about this.
This recent work is about the London Underground. Ziff captured several shots in the subway station, recording many real interactions between people.
For example, there are several couples kissing.

Someone accidentally stood in the center of the camera.

There are also men from this city of gentlemen having trouble with traffic wardens.

This is indeed our daily life. Ziff does not hide any happiness, anger and inability to control it at all. In a London Underground station, Ziff reveals an underground society.
Mashable evaluated this shooting technique as a "Renaissance" style, probably because of the "humanism" revealed in the photos. During the Renaissance, the ideas that advocated individual liberation and opposed asceticism and religious views revealed people's true temperaments. However, a few hundred years ago, the real Renaissance still had many works of religious aesthetics. However, Ziff is obviously a modern photographer, and other photos he posted on Instagram also show the same photography techniques as the subway. But he doesn’t object to people saying that he looks like a Renaissance photographer, “I find that it does have a bit of a Renaissance meaning to it. ”
This series of films was not shot by Ziff with any purpose. He said: "I am always obsessed with observing the London Underground and the way people interact with each other, especially when some norms are broken." ”
