In my impression, the raincoats worn when riding bicycles seem to be the same. If I really want to tell the difference, it is that the color of the plastic cloth is red or green. But now, the new raincoat series jointly launched by Danish designer Emma Jorn and local rain gear brand Ilse Jacobsen is really different - from shawls, jackets, to skirts, hats, this series has a variety of choices, and it can be worn when it is not raining, and it looks fashionable.
Specifically, this series has sporty designs as well as styles that take both fashion and feminine elegance into account.
In the sports style, designers have lengthened the collar and trouser legs to allow cyclists to minimize the probability of rainwater seeping into their clothing, shoes and socks during high-intensity riding. In addition, customers have a variety of choices depending on the season: when the weather is hot, choose a sports vest with a shawl; when the weather is cold, a loose sports jacket or jumpsuit is perfect.

Some styles in this series can also be fully integrated into customers' daily matching, such as a top hat, a skirt, and a baseball jacket. In addition to taking into account the fashion sense when designing these styles, the rainproof functionality of the clothes is also improved by installing fixed ropes, lengthening the front skirt, and adding elastic bands to the hem of the clothes.

“I hope that my design can help my customers who also want to be fashionable on rainy days to get rid of the embarrassment of rainy days. ’ Jorn told design news site Dezeen.
Before this collaboration with Ilse Jacobsen, Jorn had already designed a set of raincoats by himself and launched production crowdfunding through the crowdfunding website Kickstarter. Compared with the design at that time, this design appears more mature, and has been improved in practicality and fashion.
