Japanese design studio Nendo is currently holding a retrospective exhibition of its studio at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei. In the design exhibition hall transformed from a cigarette factory, Nendo used a circular corridor full of windows to classify and display more than 300 works designed by the studio in the past, divided into six exhibition areas.

Since Nendo is a design service company, except for some conceptual designs, most of the exhibits in this retrospective exhibition are products of some brands. Therefore, this exhibition is divided into sections by brand and the country and region in which the brand is located, and within each section, products are placed in designated "windows" according to size, color and category.
For visitors, the visiting experience brought about by such zoning and layout is very similar to the feeling of window shopping along a commercial street, which can not only attract attention but also help maintain a sense of freshness. Of course, given that most of the items on display are household products, such an arrangement can also prevent unnecessary damage to the exhibits while maintaining the basic order of the exhibition.

This exhibition will last until October 30, 2016. It is worth mentioning that such a retrospective exhibition has been held before. Just earlier this year, Nendo held an exhibition with the same theme in Israel. The form at that time was also quite unconventional, using small rooms for display in sections.
